Severe Storms

The SES's main role is dealing with severe storms. In Willoughby and Lane Cove, storms are the most frequent type of emergency we encounter. In 1991, Sydney's Northern Suburbs were lashed by a storm of almost cyclonic proportions. This type of storm can strike with relatively little warning.
